The entire property contains a house, "El Castillo", and three apartment units: "El Mono," "Pez," and "Tortuga," with a central oasis pool. Rent the entire property for your group of 16+ or rent units individually. We hope you'll feel comfortable enough here to call it your home away from home. We have updated the property with modern amenities and furnishings, but chose to retain the Costa Rican authenticity / coziness of the Spanish Colonial property as it was originally built.

Within walking distance to the grocery, market, medical, pharmacy, skatepark, restaurants, excursions, entertainment and more.

Experience the perfect balance of homey comfort and convenience, with markets, restaurants, and adventure just a short walk away. And don’t be surprised if you spot a howler monkey or iguana during your stay!

The mural was created by local artist Andrey Portuguez.

The pillows in Mono are by Costa Rican artist Erica Zeledon (and we can't wait to add even more of her fabulous work!)

We have worked with many local woodworkers and builders and love sourcing decor from local Tamarindo shops such as Jungle Luxe, Con Mucho Gusto, and Local Artists Tamarindo, and JYG Furniture (and good coffee, too!)
